Jays' have a real fondness for acorns, which they bury throughout the autumn and revisit during winter. Each bird buries several thousand seeds each year, playing a crucial role in the spread and maintenance of the few native oak woodlands left in Ireland. This nature story is just part of the inspiration behind Dollybirds Art.

A childhood immersed in art and nature led to artist Eimear Maguire establishing her own creative brand Dollybirds Art in 2013. Her paintings are a celebration of the diverse natural world found throughout Ireland and of many experiences outdoors.

Each painting is the culmination of time spent in nature developing ideas and many hours of sketching before everything is brought to life in the studio with colour. Created entirely by hand using techniques which have taken a lifetime to perfect. Images are painted in meticulous detail and tell their own unique story of nature. They each celebrate the little things that mark the changing of seasons as well as the birds, plants, trees and wildlife we are so lucky to have here in Ireland.

Perfect displayed as a single statement feature or as a set to add elements of nature to your home. Individually signed and titled they make the perfect gift for the nature lover.
